Maddie Kasserman
Consultant
What is your role and primary responsibilities at ADM?
My role is to strategize with clients on how to bring their story to life for trial while also reaching out to potential new clients.
What is your professional background, and how did it lead you to your current position?
My background is sales and legal heavy. I grew up surrounded by trial lawyers, married a trial lawyer and worked as an office assistant for a reputable trial firm in Chicago. When I left law school I fell into sales and missed the law so much so I combined the two! I have been in the legal tech space for the last 5 years loving every second of it.
What specific skills or expertise do you bring to your role, and how do they align with ADM’s goals and values?
I bring strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to my role. My ability to analyze complex information and present it in a compelling way is crucial when developing case strategies. Additionally, my experience around trials has given me a deep understanding of courtroom dynamics, allowing me to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly. These skills align with ADM’s goals by ensuring we approach each case with precision, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in advocacy for clients.
Are there any milestones or accomplishments you’re particularly proud of?
I graduated from DePaul University in 2018 with a major in psychology and minor in political science.
What interests or hobbies do you pursue outside of work?
I love live music. Music is one of my biggest passions! Whether I am curating playlists or finding new artists to listen to, music is a huge part of my day. I also love spending time with my big Italian family and my husband!
Do any of your personal passions influence your work or approach to your role?
Being a people person plays a huge role in how I approach my work. I love meeting new people, building connections, and networking—something that is essential in my role. My passion for our work also runs deep, as I’ve been around trials my whole life. This background gives me a unique perspective and fuels my enthusiasm for what we do. I especially enjoy bringing fresh ideas to the table when brainstorming how to engage or persuade a jury, always looking for innovative ways to make an impact.
What is your approach to problem-solving or handling challenges in your role?
I take a strategic and creative approach to problem-solving. I analyze the challenge, gather insights, and brainstorm innovative solutions—whether it’s engaging a jury or adapting case strategies. Collaboration is key, and I rely on my team’s expertise to refine ideas. I see challenges as opportunities to think outside the box and improve our approach.
How do you collaborate with other team members or departments?
I collaborate with my team daily, whether it’s working with sales to strategize how to bring a case to life for a jury or partnering with our incredible artists to explore innovative approaches for a case. This teamwork ensures we’re always pushing creative boundaries and delivering impactful results.
Can you share a specific instance where your work positively impacted a client or project?
Are there any areas or skills you are looking to further develop?
I really want to develop my medical acumen! I am learning more and more about anatomy and medical terms each day and I hope to continue learning more.
